Job Summary: The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory management, including the tracking, documentation, and reconciliation of inventory. This role ensures that all inventory processes are followed, discrepancies are investigated, and stock levels are maintained to meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inventory Management: ○ Supervise and oversee all inventory control activities within the warehouse. ○ Ensure accurate and timely recording of inventory transactions. ○ Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies. ○ Maintain organized and efficient warehouse space.
2. Data Analysis and Reporting: ○ Compile and present inventory data to management for decision-making. ○ Perform trend, variance, and sensitivity analysis on inventory data. ○ Generate and maintain detailed inventory reports.
3. Process Improvement: ○ Identify and implement improvements to inventory processes. ○ Investigate and resolve inventory issues to optimize efficiency and reduce costs. ○ Develop and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
4. Collaboration: ○ Work closely with logistics, quality control, and other departments to ensure inventory accuracy and order fulfillment. ○ Provide inventory-related support to other teams as needed. ○ Communicate effectively across departments regarding inventory status and issues.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field preferred. • 0-2 years of experience in inventory management or a related role. • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Advanced Excel Skill is a must. • Bilingual in Chinese and English. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods. • Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
