eCommerce Associate/ Retail Merchandiser
Job Summary
Avery Ice is hiring for two eCommerce Associates to support our day to day operation. This is a contract part-time position (can lead to 40 hours position) that requires minimum of 25 hours a week.

We run an eCommerce business selling jewelry on eBay and Etsy, and currently growing rapidly. If you enjoy working with jewelry or you are interested in learning about merchandising, this may be for you!

Primary duties of the job include:
Manage in-house inventories to ensure accuracy of inventory data
List products (descriptions, images, pricing, keywords, etc.)
Monitor product listings ( adjust pricing and strategy in response to changing markets)
Prepare and ship packages
Customer service, answer messages and provide creative solutions for customers
Analyze sales data and and forecast the trend
Identify potential suppliers and products to source

Qualifications and Skills
Able to read in Mandarin
Able to navigate eBay and Etsy and use various selling tools
Strong attention to details, excellent organizational skills
Basic knowledge of jewelry, such as knowing different categories of necklaces, etc, and able to describe the products
Independent thinker, able to create solutions for customers
Excellent writing skills that projects professional and friendly attitude when dealing with customers
Intermediate Excel skill, know “sort”, “filter”, and some basic functions
Must have a laptop
Comfortably working in home environment. Coffee, tea, snacks will be provided. We are currently looking for a separate work space to move to
Can work legally in the US

Candidates with the following will be preferred, but not required
Previous experience of working in e-commerce
Basic Photoshop/Bridge/Lightroom skills
Know how to take products photographs
Own a car and can drive
